Engagement Photography Session
It rained on Katie and Will's wedding day last year. When I say rained, what I mean to say is that a monsoon crashed through the mountains and did not let up, not for one second. It poured, cats, dogs you name it. We spent the entire time indoors and of course did not let it ruin one second of their big day. Katie and Will asked me to take some anniversary portraits for them back at The Inn at Tranquility Farm and guess what!?! It was a really beautiful day! Happy First Anniversary Katie & Will xoxoxo
Emily and Dave looked like they just stepped off of a 1940's movie set. They were amazing and their session was so much fun! They met and fell in love at culinary school and so it made sense to pay a little visit to The French Broad Chocolate Lounge. Of course, cake just like life, tastes much better when you have someone to share it with.

Carolyn and Josh are so much fun to be around and we had such a great time talking about our families and their upcoming wedding plans! Spring was just starting to appear at Biltmore and we were grateful the rain held off for an hour while we took some quick portraits in the walled garden.
Meet Evan, my brother-in law! He is beyond awesome and when he picked Courtney for me to spend the rest of my life with I was so excited. You may recognize this pair from a previous session in Charleston last summer but when you're related to a wedding photographer having just one engagement session quite simply isn't enough. We couldn't resist visiting the Biltmore Estate this wintery afternoon after several inches of snow. Courtney and Evan are getting married there this June and its one of their favorite places to spend time together with their pup Jack.
Courtney's red coat and the green pines in contrast to the crisp white snow was so beautiful. I shot this session with both film and on my mark iii and although we can't take credit for this snowman below, isn't he fantastic!
